Flaming/Flame Wars
Flaming is reacting to someone's board posting or PM in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users flame each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)

backpain2007 backpain2007 Banned. Too much trouble... Veteran Registered: 03/13/07 Posts: 716	I am so excited, I thought I would be waiting forever but I finally got a job offer and accepted it! I start in 2 weeks, and to make it better this is at upper managment level, I will be in charge of about 15 programmers and help desk personal and the job is super close to my home. I was ready to commute far just to get some work but this was lucky! Great pay, more than I made before, great benefits and since I am going to be in managment, I get a good deal of vacation time right off the bat and more in 6 months! I was really getting worried there thinking I wouldn't get anything, ready to take whatever I was offered but this is even better than I could have expected. The company is great, very laid back attitude, all the employees seem happy, great vibe in the place, I don't have to dress up in a suite, business casuall for all and I will even get my own office! Where I live it is very hard to find a job close buy so the city was really the best option but this place happens to be located in the town right next to where I live, 10 minute commute max! So I'll relax now for the next 2 weeks and read up on some stuff they gave me so I am prepared and then back to working fulltime. They said once I am there 3 months I can start working from home on fridays and in the summer they let people out early some days. No drug test but I could have passed that no problem anyway. This will be my 1st time in managment so I am super excited, they really like my background and all my references from previous jobs had great things to say about me. I couldn't be happier! We already have great medical benafits but if needed this company has a great medical plan too so thats always nice to know. Plus they have a nice matching 401k contribution which I qualify for after 30 days of employment. WOW, what a relief!

I really got lucky, like I said, I was ready to take pretty much anything and this job has so many perks that I really got lucky. Plus, with being in charge of programmers, I will be able to learn a lot of new technologies so I am excited! Thanks again all for the congrats!

From you PM's too me, you described yourself as being pretty high up on the corporate ladder, so what, mad that I fianlly found a good job ?? Just so you know, I have stuck to my benzo taper, am down to 17mg per day and feeling great! Only other med I take is a bit of sub in the am as needed. You are too negative man! Like I said before, you sound like you are just mad at the world! Oh well. Your nothing more than a troll, its actually kinda funny! You seem to post all over this board too so you must have a lot of free time as you seem to know about almost all the OP's and always have info, must be on a lot of meds yourself! I bet 1st thing you do when you come one this board is check all my posts to see which ones you can flame! Twill be a merry xmas this year! Well I just got an email from the HR director at the school system I work in and they want me to call to set up an interview. Right now my commute is about 1 hour 10 minutes and the new job would be about 15 minutes. Also, I am at a level 15 at the moment and this is a level 20 which is about $16 more an hour. I would even take a lateral move right now just to have a lesser commute. Another thing is I used to be so happy at work. I would bring work home every night and work on the weekends. Now I dread going to work because of a new assistant supervisor that has made life for all of us a living hell. Please pray for me and keep your fingers crossed. I really want this job. I am taking HR classes now and by this being in the HR department, it would give me a "foot in the door" so to speak. _________________________ Don't Work Hard.... Work Smart!
